Home Health Insurance Authorization Specialist

AdvisaCare Home Health is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Home Health Insurance Authorization Specialist and Orders Management to join our team at our Portage l ocation! This is not a remote position and our office is in Portage, MI .

Salary will be 50,000

Will work in the Kalamazoo office Monday through Friday 8-5

Needs Insurance related experience, preferably in healthcare

May need to step in as intake position as needed

Will be responsible for ensuring timely return of orders signed, reaching out to confirm home health signing physician

Data entry of patients, physicians, etc

Navigating portals such as Allscripts, Epic, Ensocare, etc

Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of Medicare

• Knowledge of insurance websites such as CareCentrix, Availity, Priority, etc.

• Conscientious, with attention to detail

• Demonstrates patience, flexibility and cooperative attitude

• Effective verbal and written communication skills with others both internally and externally

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of one (1) year insurance verification, insurance authorization or medical billing experience.

Qualification

High School or equivalent
