Home Health Aide

Parx Home Care is looking for a talented Home Health Aide to join our amazing team for a 1099 position. The?Home Health Aide?will have the rewarding opportunity to provide personalized care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

• Assist individuals with their daily needs, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Remind individuals to take their medication and offer help with administering it.
• Keep track of vital signs and promptly communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
• Take care of light household tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet specific dietary requirements.
• Engage in meaningful and compassionate conversations with clients.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients and their families.

Requirements What we're looking for in you:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved training program for Home Health Aides
• A valid certification as a Home Health Aide
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide
• Excellent communication and empathy skills with clients and their families
• Ability to safely lift and move clients using proper body mechanics
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screening
