THE ORGANIZATION
In a nutshell: Envision Educationis both a local community-centered public charter network serving~1,500 students on 3 campuses in Hayward, Oakland, and San Francisco and a nationalentity serving small and large school districts from ~500 to 1.5M students. We are dedicated to transforming students' lives by equipping them for success in college, career, and life.

The current landscape: Envision is in search of an experienced, strategic, people-focused instructional leader to champion Impact Academy of Arts and Technology High School's academic vision in close collaboration with the Superintendent of Schools and School Site Leadership Team.
The model: Everything we do at Envision is mapped to our Graduate Profile. Students in grades 6-12 prepare for their 8th, 10th, and 12th grade portfolio defensesthrough projects, exhibitions of learning, performance assessments, internal interim/summative assessments, and college prep.
THE ROLE
The Principal sets a vision of excellence and drives achievement through systems-level instructional leadership and collaboration to lead a culturally sustaining and rigorous college-prep community. Impact Academy is a small, personalized, and diverse public college-prep charter high school located in Hayward, California. A U.S. News and World Report "Best High School," IAHS shares a campus with Impact Academy Middle Grades 6-8.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Experience and Expertise:
- A proven track record in instructional leadership and high school leadership at the Vice Principal or Principal Level. Experience within a charter school or small urban district is highly desirable.
- Strategic Vision:
- Ability to set a clear and compelling vision for academic excellence and drive the school towards achieving this vision.
- Commitment to Equity:
- Deep commitment to equity and inclusion, with a demonstrated ability to engage in and lead anti-racist, Pro-Black, and culturally responsive practices.
- People-Focused:
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to leadership across difference. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships within a diverse school community.

- A reflective practitioner who is always looking to learn, grow, and improve.
