Maxwell Energy Systems specializes in advanced electronics for electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage systems. The company is well-regarded for its smart battery management systems (BMS), which are used in various applications including two and three-wheelers, passenger and commercial vehicles, and industrial applications like electric forklifts and mining equipment. About the Role:
Maxwell is seeking talented and motivated recent graduates to join our Hardware Testing & Validation department as an intern. In this role, you will play a vital role in the Hardware Testing and Validation of our Battery Management Systems for Electric Vehicles applications. You will gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers across various disciplines, contributing to the continuous improvement of Maxwell's cutting-edge BMS technology.
Responsibilities:
Acquire a thorough understanding of Maxwell's BMS solutions and the broader EV battery ecosystem.
Work closely with design, development, and manufacturing teams to provide critical feedback and insights. Communicate test results and validation findings effectively to cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Identify and diagnose electronic system issues through meticulous testing and validation. Brainstorm innovative solutions to address and resolve complex technical problems.
Gain experience in actively support hardware releases.
Apply your theoretical knowledge of embedded systems, digital/analog electronics, and communication protocols to design, develop, and optimize BMS solutions.
Keep abreast of the latest advancements in electronics testing, validation technologies, and industry trends.
Develop strong communication and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide timely solutions for BMS challenges.
Proactively implement best practices and cutting-edge techniques to maintain our competitive edge.
Ensure all tests are conducted according to the regional and/or industry compliances and validation processes adhere to key automotive standards such as ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), IATF 16949 (Quality Management), Design Validation process.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field, 2024 pass out.
Strong understanding on electronics/electrical design & product validation plan definition & execution.
Basic understanding of testing of on board DC-DC power supply units, CAN, SPI, I2C, current sensors.
Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with a passion for innovation and a drive to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
Ability to engage in requirement elicitation, technical negotiation, and stakeholder management.
