KBR is seeking a Ground Systems Engineer, to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, hand selected systems engineering team defining the next generation of space communication systems supporting US Space Force and Space Systems Command (SSC) Advanced MILSATCOM Division (SZM). You will support Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment. You will work onsite, co-located and closely integrated with the Government Customer.

Key Responsibilities:
Support various systems architecting and engineering activities such as system requirements definition, design, interface management, data architecture development, verification and validation, integration, performance analysis, lifecycle cost analysis & estimation, decision analysis, and physical configuration assessments
Manage ground segment technical and interface requirements.
Manage interface negotiation with external stakeholders.
Oversee requirements and interface verification.
+ Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Support development of system engineering items such as CONOPs, requirements definitions (or features, themes, epics), system testing, algorithm document review, and interfaces to other application development efforts
Support the development and refinement of acquisition strategies as well as identifying program execution issues and provide recommendations when possible

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experienceMust have a TS/SCI and have the ability
to obtain an CI polyMust have
min five years experience architecting ground systemsExperience in system requirements definition, design, interface management
and data architecture development
Eligibility for or an active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation: $200,000 - $225,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate?s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
