We are looking for an experienced Groomer to join our team at PAWSH. Our ideal candidate would have experience in grooming pets of all shapes and sizes, and according to pet parent preferences and breed standards. You must also have a love of furry friends too!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bathe, brush, and dry animals of various breeds
• Clip nails
• Asses skin for any abnormalities
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Effectively communicate with pet parents about the animal's grooming style, any skin concerns, or other related issues.
• Be able to answer pet parent's questions or concerns.
• Maintain impeccable records of the animal's grooming history.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ year(s) of proven experience as a groomer.
• Experience grooming both cats and dogs is preferred.
• You must provide and maintain clippers and scissors.
• Ability to calmly handle animals of all sizes and temperaments.
• Knowledge of safe and humane handling of animals.
• Extensive knowledge of breeds and their grooming requirements.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be flexible to change.
