Job Description

Location: Amphitheater Concert Venue: Great Park Live (on-site)

Job Type: Part-time

As a Grill, Fry, and Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This role requires flexibility, speed, and precision, especially during peak concert times.

Responsibilities: Stations vary/rotate per shift.

Grill Cook: Grill various meats, vegetables, and other food items as per the menu specifications. Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively.

Fry Cook.Operate fryers safely and efficiently to prepare fried foods such as fries, chicken tenders, and other menu items. Monitor oil temperature and quality.

Prep Cook: Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and portioning as per recipes. Assist in the preparation of salads, appetizers, and other dishes.

Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and adheres to health and safety standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment.

Collaborate with kitchen staff and follow instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager.

Monitor inventory and report any shortages or equipment issues.

Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a grill, fry, or prep cook in a high-volume environment preferred.

Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak times.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during concert events.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
