Job Description

Graphic Design Summer Intern

Location: Rochester, NY (in-office 3 times a week)

Schedule: 8 weeks (starting early June) 40hrs/week

Compensation: $18/hour

Are you a creative thinker with a passion for design and branding? Ithaca Hummus is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our team! This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both print and digital design, working on real projects that support our brand across multiple touchpoints.

What You'll Do:

Digital Design Create static and animated assets for web, social media, and email campaigns

Print Design Assist with packaging updates, sell sheets, and in-store signage

Brand Collaboration Work within our brand guidelines to bring fresh ideas to life

Cross-Functional Work Partner with our marketing, sales, and operations teams

Fast-Paced Execution Learn to generate content quickly while meeting deadlines

What You'll Learn:

How to design within brand guidelines while thinking creatively

The process of taking a project from concept to production

How to present and communicate your design decisions

The art of brainstorming big ideas and collaborating with a team

Who You Are:

A student or recent grad in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field

Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, and PowerPoint

A strong communicator who enjoys working in a team setting

Detail-oriented with a passion for typography, layout, and brand storytelling

This is a paid internship reporting to our Lead Creative and working closely with the marketing team. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to build your portfolio and gain real-world design experience, we'd love to hear from you!
