VA Power and Steels Pvt Ltd, a group company, is a producer of ferro alloys with over 10 years of experience in the industry. Our plant, located near Raigarh, Chattisgarh, has two smelters with a combined capacity of over 16.5 MVA, and is capable of producing approximately 25,000 tonnes of manganese alloys per year. Over 50% of our output is exported through merchant exporters.

Your mission will be to ensure robust financial management and regulatory compliance, contributing to the company's growth and financial health through accurate accounting, strategic planning, and effective financial reporting.

Roles, Responsibilities and Outcomes:

• Ensure timely and precise preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and statutory reports with 100% compliance with regulatory deadlines and zero errors or omissions.
• Manage compliance with trade regulations, registrations, document management, insurance, and other office-based paperwork, ensuring all legalities and regulatory standards are met for both domestic and international trade activities; Coordinate with legal advisors to handle any trade-related legal issues and ensure all contracts and agreements are compliant with regulatory standards.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations; Implement and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate and reliable financial records, with zero incidents of control breaches and internal audit findings resolved within 30 days.
• Facilitate smooth audit processes by liaising with external auditors, addressing financial discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements, with all audit requirements met and financial discrepancies resolved within 15 days of identification
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals and enhance financial performance; Monitor budget performance and implement corrective actions as needed; Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, and regulatory bodies; Ensure transparent and effective communication of financial performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting and Compliances, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Possessing strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations, as well as proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Demonstrating excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Exhibiting high attention to detail, integrity, and strong organizational skills.
