Job Purpose:
We are seeking a Globality RDC - SDET (Software Developer in Test with strong expertise in test automation to design and execute robust testing solutions for innovative brokerage and financial applications. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical engineer who thrives in collaborative Agile environments and values continuous learning, efficiency, and code quality.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain robust Java-based test suites using Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit for functional testing of Web UI applications.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable, testable solutions.
• Design, build, and run automated tests in CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, Jenkins Core , and other orchestration tools.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for backend testing and data validation.
• Conduct web services testing and work with RESTful APIs to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Actively participate in all phases of Agile development, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous delivery.
• Debug, isolate, and reproduce issues and validate fixes while advocating for code quality and testing standards.
• Participate in team initiatives for test coverage improvement, auditing compliance, and process optimization.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience testing financial and brokerage applications (Fixed Income product knowledge is a plus).
• Multi-stack engineering skills with exposure to Java, JavaScript/Angular, HTTP, RESTful APIs , and front-end/backend architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins Core, Artifactory, Stash , or similar tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices, especially around continuous integration and deployment.
• Experience with Agile frameworks and tools such as JIRA .
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
• Strong communication skills with a willingness to mentor peers and share best practices.
