Girls JV Volleyball Coach

Title: ???? Girls JV Volleyball Coach Reports to: ?? Head Varsity Volleyball Coach Direct Reports: ?? n/a Experience: ? 2-3 years of relevant coaching experience preferred; prior experience with student-athletes or in an educational setting Requirements Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the JV volleyball program, including practices, matches, player development, and team culture.
• Teach and reinforce fundamental volleyball skills, game strategy, etc.
• Plan and conduct organized, safe, and engaging practices.
• Develop athletes physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
• Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Coordinate with varsity coaching staff to align program goals and athlete development.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and team events.
• Maintain effective communication with players, parents, school administration, and athletic department staff.
• Ensure compliance with school and SCISA policies and regulations.
• Organize equipment, uniforms, and practice/game schedules.
• Monitor athlete eligibility, attendance, and conduct standards.
• Promote and build a team and positive program culture of strong Christian character, sportsmanship, diligent work ethic, perseverance and team above self.
• Mentor student athletes on and off the field, consistently modeling a Christian witness in all interactions, including but not limited to interactions with players, parents, officials, coaching staff, opposing teams and coaches.
• Offer off-season opportunities for player growth and development
