Office Address:?1117 Ivy Hill Road Philadelphia, PA 19150 Responsibilities include construction monitoring and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for a new graduate with interests in geology looking to start their career with a stable, growing company. Ample opportunities for training, certifications and career advancement. You must own a vehicle, have a good driving record, like working with people, and enjoy working outdoors. Experience is preferred, but we will accept entry level candidates and provide training! Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • B.S. in Geology (preferred but not required)
  • Certificates such as NICET, ACI, WACEL, PDOT (preferred but not required)
  • Own a Reliable Vehicle and have a Good Driving Record
  • Enjoy working outdoors
  • Ability to work alone as well as in a group
This position may require standing for extended durations as well as repetitive motions such as lifting or hammering. The employee must have the ability to use their hands to handle, finger or feel; reach, climb or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel and sit, see and smell; including close, distance and peripheral vision, depth vision and ability to focus. The employee will regularly lift and/or move 60 pounds; and occasionally move 80 pounds or more (such as a loaded wheelbarrow of concrete or soil samples). GTA will provide you with Personal Protective Equipment, which includes High Visibility Vest, Hard Hat, Gloves, and Safety Glasses.
