Job Description


Recruiting a strong Generator Technician leader for an opportunity at a nationally recognized, family-owned company in your area! This position requires industrial generator experience that includes load banking, outage testing and some electrical experience.

The position offers a competitive salary, benefits, a work truck, and the ability to expense lunch when visiting customer sites.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on generators
  • Troubleshoot generator issues and determine appropriate solutions
  • Install and commission new generators according to manufacturer's guidelines
  • Test and evaluate generator performance
  • Respond to emergency generator service calls
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed
  • Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Generator Technician
  • Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
