General Laborer - Fumigation

NO FUMIGATION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report to work as early as 6:00 am and finish when the day's work assignments are completed
• Work Monday through Friday (with weekends as needed, with prior notice)
• Have reliable transportation and exceptional attendance
• Wear company provided uniform and maintain a professional, clean appearance, with proper footwear and personal hygiene
• Safely drive/operate and maintain a company provided service vehicle, with all fumigation equipment
• Attend all required meetings, company briefings, and training courses punctually
• Maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record
• Engage in physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, crawling, climbing, bending, twisting, and working in various conditions
• Wear proper PPE and safety gear, including Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) gear when needed.
• Ability to work on roofs as needed, always wearing fall protection, fall restraint, fall arrest safety devices and harnesses, and tie off as required by the company, the law, OSHA
• Willingness to learn new techniques and procedures based on industry needs.
• Properly handle fumigation objects, such as tarps, sand snakes, water snakes, pins, bottles, cords, ropes, and other items required for the tasks assigned.
• Utilize a variety of tools and safety devices including ladders, ropes, fans, extension cords and power tools, tubes, shovels, brooms and SCBA gear.
• Treat customers, homes, businesses and properties with respect at all times
• Take the initiative and be a self-guided/thinker in knowing what needs to be done without being told.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Reside on the island of Kauai
• Possess a valid Hawaii Driver's License
• Maintain a good driving record
• Ability to lift heavy equipment
• Pass a complete pre-employment drug screening
• Pass a pre-employment driving and criminal background check
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Compensation Package:

• Starting at $24.00 Hourly, with potential to make up to $36.75
