General Counsel

Liberty Healthcare Corporation seeks an experienced corporate lawyer for its in-house General Counsel position.

This role serves as Chief Legal Officer, responsible for leading corporate strategic and tactical initiatives, as well as overseeing all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.

This individual will provide sound legal advice, proactively manage risk, and support the company?s business objectives with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as a contributing member of Liberty Healthcare?s executive team

• Providing legal guidance to senior leadership and corporate departments

• Overseeing compliance with local, state, federal laws and industry-specific regulations

• Leading Liberty Healthcare?s in-house legal team and overseeing external counsel

• Advising on employment law matters

• Collaborating with in-house and outside counsel on litigation matters

• Negotiating complex business transactions and critical contracts

• Overseeing corporate compliance and corporate governance activities

• Proactively identifying and preventing risk in current operations and potential future business

• Evaluating insurance policies and negotiating renewal terms

• Participating in the development and enhancement of policies and procedures

• Monitoring legal trends and emerging laws

This is a hybrid position which will primarily allow you to work from your home office and require you to occasionally work in Liberty Healthcare?s office in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

• Juris Doctor degree and at least 15 years of experience

• In-house corporate counsel experience in leadership roles with the abovementioned responsibilities

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar

• Residence within commuting distance of Bala Cynwyd, PA

• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
