Front-end (React.js ) Architect

Docyt is seeking a talented and experienced Front-end Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping our front-end architecture and technology stack. As a Front-end Architect at Docyt, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, performant, and maintainable front-end solutions for our web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, provide technical leadership, and ensure the quality and consistency of our front-end codebase.

Docyt is a rapidly growing FinTech startup based in Silicon Valley, dedicated to giving businesses control over their financial data. Our AI-powered platform automates income and expense workflows, reconciles financial statements in real-time, and generates accurate financial statements. As a Front-end Architect, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology that revolutionizes the way businesses manage their financial data.

• Architect and design scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end solutions
• Guide and mentor front-end developers to ensure high-quality code standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Lead initiatives to improve front-end development processes, tools, and frameworks
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end development trends and technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our products
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end technical issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
• 8-15 years of professional experience in front-end development
• Strong experience with front-end framework React is required
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, single page applications
• Experience with micro frontend architecture is highly desired.
• Good experience with developing UI components.
• Develop, document, and maintain UI components.
• Collaborate with the design team to clarify UI component requirements"
• Extensive experience of integrating the frontend application withJenkins, KARMA and Ansible for deployment
• Experience of building highly scalable product right from scratch.
• Expertise in caching, minification, bundling techniques to improve front end performance
• Experience in integrating with a CDN to optimize resource bandwidth
• Experience in working with AB Test frameworks
• Experience in using front end monitoring tools to troubleshoot errors and recognise performance bottlenecks
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and coding
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools(GIT, SVN), working experience with Agile methodology and fast iterative development cycles.
• An expert comprehension of core web and browser concepts (eg. JavaScript handling the asynchronous code)
• Strong collaborator and has skills to participate/guide technical discussions
• Ability to achieve consensus amongst stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
• Past experience with startups and fast paced environments is an added advantage
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in the FinTech or related industry is a plus
