Job Description

Quadric has created an innovative general purpose neural processing unit (GPNPU) architecture. Quadric's co-optimized software and hardware is targeted to run neural network (NN) inference workloads in a wide variety of edge and endpoint devices, ranging from battery operated smart-sensor systems to high-performance automotive or autonomous vehicle systems. Unlike other NPUs or neural network accelerators in the industry today that can only accelerate a portion of a machine learning graph, the Quadric GPNPU executes both NN graph code and conventional C++ DSP and control code.

Role:

As a key member of the engineering team, you will lead development of prototyping platforms (FPGA and HAPS). Hands on experience implementing an FPGA based system is essential. Requires knowledge and skills across the hardware-software stack running and debugging Neural Networks in HW and SW development environments. You will collaborate with internal teams to help optimize Quadric's products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 7+ years of experience in FPGA design and implementation
  • Experience with FPGA and/or HAPS top-level systems Vivado or equivalent toolchain
  • Experience with implementing flows to map CPU/GPU RTL on FPGA based platforms for emulation purposes
Responsibilities
  • Develop flows to run HW verification tests, SDK tests and NNs on these platforms
  • Build regression environments to ensure flow evolves with HW and SW changes
  • Triage failures and do first order debug before handing issue to HW or SW team
  • Keep broader team informed about progress with execution dashboards

Benefits

  • Provide competitive salaries and meaningful equity
  • Provide a politics-free community for the brilliant minds who want to make an immediate impact
  • Provide an opportunity for you to build long term career relationships
  • Foster an environment that allows for lasting personal relationships alongside professional ones
