What You Will Do

  • JOB SUMMARY

Provides financial consulting and strategic support to drive optimal business decision making across multiple levels. Drives portions of the company's monthly financial forecast, annual budgeting process, variance analysis and special projects.

  • WHAT YOU WILL DO

(This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the Company)

  • Analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, and expenses.
  • Monitors performance indicators, highlights trend and analyzes causes of unexpected variance.
  • Prepares, on a monthly basis, a reconciliation/report on overhead spending by department.
  • Provides business support for P&L forecasting, quarterly cost center forecasting, and monthly internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Provides support with the preparation of the monthly profit forecasts providing supporting analysis for assumptions.
  • Provides financial and analytical support on ad hoc projects, as necessary.
  • Develops financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms.
  • Adheres to general standards to promote a cooperative working environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team building.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field of study and 4+ years related work experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Knowledge of:

  • Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills Microsoft Office Professional or similar application.
  • Strong analytical skills.

- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field of study.
  • Experience working with BPC and/or SAP.

Work Environment and Physical Demand

  • Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).
  • Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
  • Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
