Founding Engineer

We are seeking a Founding Engineer to join our core team and play a pivotal role in shaping our technology and engineering culture. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an early-stage startup , enjoys working with large-scale tick-by-tick datasets , and has a passion for building scalable architectures from the ground up .

As one of our first hires, you'll take on multiple responsibilitiesfrom hands-on coding and architecting systems to leading the tech team , hiring top talent , and even engaging with customers. If you're looking for a high-impact, high-autonomy role , this is the perfect fit.

Requirements

• Architect and scale our core technology, working with massive datasets.
• Design and develop high-performance backend and frontend systems.
• Establish engineering culture, best practices, and coding standards to ensure long-term scalability.
• Lead technical decision-making , influencing architecture and system design.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow the engineering team as we scale.
• Work across the stack , including backend, frontend, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and develop better solutions.

• 3+ years of software engineering experience , preferably in high-scale systems .
• Proficiency in backend and frontend technologies (e.g., Python, Node.js, React ).
• Experience with big data, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate unstructured environments .
• Passion for startups , with the ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-moving environment.
• Bonus: Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or data-heavy applications .
