Arena Investors, LP ("Arena") is a global investment management firm that seeks to generate attractive risk adjusted, consistent and uncorrelated returns by employing a fundamentals based, asset-oriented financing and investing strategy across the entire credit spectrum in areas where conventional sources of capital are scarce. Arena specializes in off-the-run, stressed, distressed, illiquid and esoteric special situation transactions through originations and acquisitions of asset-oriented investments across a wide array of asset types (including but not limited to private direct corporate credit, commercial real estate bridge lending, and commercial and consumer assets).

Quaestor Advisors, LLC ("Quaestor") is an affiliated Special Servicer, which provides mid and back -office services, including asset management, to Arena Investors and external clients.

Quaestor is looking to expand the team through the addition of Analyst _Investment research. Ideal candidates will be organized, self-motivated, resourceful and able to work effectively with all internal functional groups

Researching specific industries / sectors as part of the transaction evaluation process, including:

Building and updating detailed modelswith NPV calculations and deal analysis

Identifying similar transactions (and terms) to proposed transaction

Processing and analysing large sets of data related to potential borrowers (customer, financial etc.)

Execute valuation and financial analysis and conduct industry research

Must have experience in research (sell side or credit research)

Must have experience in preparation of research reports and Investment memorandums

Responsible for client interaction and managing client expectations

Should be aware of credit covenants and terminologies

An eye for details and ability to handle multiple workflows with tight deadlines

Requirements

The preferred candidate should also have either work or educational experience in elementary financial analysis e.g. worked as an analyst

The candidate must thrive as a self-starter, as they will have tremendous autonomy, and they should be 100% comfortable with hybrid working

2 to 4 years of financial industry experience; MBA/PGDM in Finance required

Strong oral and written communication skills & excellent time management

Computer skills including use of Word /Excel/ Presentation
