We have flexible shifts available and Part-time or Full-time positions available.

This job at Hasting MN, House is hoarded, needs IHS to focus on cleaning. Great opportunity for someone living near Eagan, Apple valley, Northfield, Cottage Grove.

PCA- Duties

In this role,you'llhave the opportunity to:

• Provide care andmaintainclient confidentiality; treat clients and families with respect.

• Understand,acceptand respond to the emotional needs of each client.

• Participate in in-service programs to meet compliance requirements.

• Accept and fulfill assignments with Safeway Home Healthcare; exercise judgment in accepting assignments.

• Perform other related duties and responsibilities asdeemednecessary

• Assistclients with personal hygiene, including showers, tub or bed baths, oral care, hair, and skincare.

• Assistclients in the use of toilet facilities, including bedpans.

• Assistclients in and out of bed, excluding the use of mechanical lifting equipment unless trained and documented as competent.

• Assistclients with walking, including using walkers and wheelchairs, when applicable.

• Meal preparation and feeding, whenrequired.

• Assistwith prescribed exercises when the client and the aide have been instructed by theappropriate healthprofessional.

• Record and report changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or appearance to the supervisor.

IHSRole andresponsibilities

In this role,you'llhave the opportunity to:

• Assistin managing the careassistanceactivities provided by Safeway Home Healthcare

• The IHS worker will work under the supervision of the IHS Manager to handle the activities of the homecare workers to ensure theappropriate careresponsibilities are undertaken and supervise the careassistancegiven to clients to promote their physical, social, and psychological well-being.

• Handle and track incident and accident reports and provide support in investigations of matters.

• Assistin managing in-home staff activities, create work schedules,implementandmonitoractivities, and ensure that Safeway Home Healthcare procedures are being adhered to accurately to ensure adequate service provision.

• Schedule and deploy home healthcare aides for patient visitation and work assignment

• Perform regular home visits to assess clients? living environments to ensureappropriate housing

• Perform various related duties.

• Create and update personalized care plans

What we expect:

• Relevant degree in Health Care Administration, Social Science or High school diploma/GED

• 1-year experience in the Human Services Field

• Current CPR Certification

• Good communicationskills

• Have a good understanding of Rule 245D
