We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial reporting and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls. With a strong background in accounting principles, reporting standards, and team management, the Financial Controller will play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring our financial operations remain robust and transparent.

Requirements

• Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (such as IFRS/US GAAP/local GAAP).
• Month-end & Year-end Close: Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met with accuracy.
• Audit & Compliance: Liaise with external auditors, coordinate audit activities, and ensure smooth completion of statutory and internal audits.
• Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the preparation and review of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis of budget vs actual results, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals to drive performance and maintain high standards in financial reporting.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business heads, senior leadership, and other cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business decision-making.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, statutory compliance, and financial legislation in all applicable jurisdictions.
• Systems & Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and policies to increase efficiency and accuracy.

• Education: CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is required. A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (IFRS/US GAAP), and compliance regulations.
• Tools: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially in financial reporting.
