Financial Controller

Vision Point Systems, Inc. (VPS) is recruiting for a Financial Controller to oversee and manage allaccountingand financial activities. Duties will include but won't be limited to the following:

Manage all aspects ofaccounting, billing, financial statements, general ledger, costaccounting, payroll,accountspayable,accountsreceivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventoryaccounting, costaccounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses.

Maintain a documented system ofaccountingpolicies and operations.

Oversee payments of allaccounts, ensuringaccountsare paid on time.

Processaccountsand collect payments.

Oversee all payments made for debts, bank loans, and other large quantities of money.

Monitor cash and funding balances.

Keep an organized online filing system of allaccounts, statements, transactions, payments, and debts.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Organize information and statementsfor audits.

Analyze costs and profits.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree inaccounting, finance, or other related field.

7+ years of experience directly related toaccountingand/or finance.

A strong understanding ofaccountingand finance in a government contracting environment,in particular with FFP and CPFF contracts.

Possess strong capabilities and experience with Unanet.

Exceptional knowledge of Generally AcceptedAccountingPrinciples (GAAP).

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Overseeing andmanaging DCAA audits.

Strong capabilities with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Attention to detail.

Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to dissect challenges and be solutions oriented.

Manage several competing priorities efficiently and effectively.

Desired Skills

Experience supporting US Military contracts.

CPA or CMA preferred.
