Finance Executive

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Junior to join our finance team. The role involves handling daily bookkeeping, managing billing processes, assisting with VAT returns for both the UK and India, and supporting various accounting and finance tasks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UK-based companies, strong skills in Xero and Excel, and a solid understanding of taxation in both the UK and India.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks using Xero.
• Manage monthly billing processes.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns for both the UK and India.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions.
• Prepare and manage expense reporting.
• Process supplier and wage payments.
• Support the preparation of balance sheet and profit & loss reports.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Experience working with a UK-based company.
• Qualified or in the final stages of becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero accounting software.
• Understanding of basic UK and India taxes, including VAT and payroll taxes.

Preferred Skills/Experience :

• Strong understanding of Indian taxation, including GST and payroll taxes.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously for bookkeeping and billing purposes.
