What You'll Do

As a System/Deployment Engineer , you will be the tip of the spear in bringing Maneva's technology to life on the factory floor. From plant assessments to hardware installs, you'll guide manufacturers through a seamless AI deployment experience. This role combines technical execution, customer interaction, and project management ensuring our clients see value fast.

Travel: Up to 50% travel as needed (35%+ within your territory and 15% outside of your territory) to client sites and industrial facilities.

Requirements

• Design and coordinate complete on-site implementation of machine vision AI applications within industrial environments at customer facilities, including vision and actuation
• Co-lead site visits and assessments to identify high-ROI applications
• Collaborate with our engineering, product, and sales teams to ensure successful project scoping
• Set up and test cameras, sensors, and computer vision software in live production environments
• Run data collection and calibration procedures to train our models
• Monitor initial performance, troubleshoot issues, and iterate deployments as needed
• Deliver user training to operators and managers
• Capture deployment metrics and document success stories or blockers for internal teams
• Serve as the technical liaison between customers and Maneva during deployments

• Technical background: Mechanical, Electrical, System Design, Industrial Engineering, or related
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, machine vision projects, robotics, industrial systems, or AI deployment
• Comfort with on-site work in manufacturing plants (including travel ~50%)
• Ability to troubleshoot and integrate hardware (cameras, sensors, computers, networking) with production lines
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
• Experience using tools like Linux, basic Python, and/or vision system interfaces
• Strong project management and communication skills

• Experience with machine vision systems or AI/ML applications in production
• Background working in food, CPG, packaging, or manufacturing environments
• Experience working with startups or rapid-growth environments
• Ability to document case studies and contribute to post-deployment marketing content
