About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you and your team will be responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets and may partner Property Managers or landlords.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate and manage facility
repairs and maintenance performed by vendors, and contractors.
Maintain positive client
relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
Prepare and manage capital
projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
Perform facility inspections
quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest
operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
Manage environmental health and
safety procedures for facilities.
Oversee vendor relationships and
invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts,
services, and labor for projects.
Conduct process and procedure
training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
Provide formal supervision to
employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct
performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of
new employees.
Lead by example and model behaviors
that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence stakeholders to
achieve consensus.
Apply knowledge of own discipline
and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and
departmental objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve
day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be apparent
in existing systems and processes.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5
years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of
experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license
required. Facility Management certification preferred.
Skilled in navigating the exchange
of sensitive and complex information, setting performance expectations,
and resolving issues.
Leadership skills to motivate team
impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and
department.
Strong organizational skills
complemented by a keen inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills. Ability to
calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other
financial-related calculations.
Applicants must be currently
authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa
sponsorship now or in the future.
Washington Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate?s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $100,000 annually.
The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate?s skills, qualifications, and experience.
Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE?s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
