Extrusion Operator

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Extrusion Operator to join their team. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent teamwork capabilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Extrusion Operator

Location: Vernon, CA

Pay Range:

$22 + $2 shift differential

Schedule:

5:30pm to 5:30am.

Shift schedule varies weekly....4 days of work 3 days off week 1.

....3 days work and 4 days off the next week.

What's the Job?

Ensure safety and quality are at or above company standards.

Consistently meet production goals while operating the extrusion line.

Perform setup of the machine to run custom film sizes and thicknesses.

Conduct quality inspections on film to ensure specifications are met.

Troubleshoot line issues related to quality or output rates.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training.

Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Strong analytical skills related to thermoforming process settings.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
