96 Days agoCaplin & Drysdale is looking for an experienced attorney to work closely with a limited cohort of nonprofit organizations to assist them in identifying and addressing exempt organizations compliance issues that present legal risks to the success of their ongoing operations. The position would have a one-year term. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience as in-house counsel advising nonprofit organizations that work in the U.S. and abroad on legal issues related to operations and programming, corporate governance, and compliance with foreign, U.S., state and local legal requirements. Outside counsel who have been closely involved with client operations should also consider applying.
The Of Counsel should expect that these organizations will not have had in-house counsel or significant access to outside legal advice in the past.
