Job Description

We are in the process of staffing an Executive Assistant for a financial firm in the Jackson, Mississippi metro area. The client needs someone to handle the following responsibilities. If you are interested, please complete the application.

NEEDS

Interact daily with clients in a professional and personable manner
Manage various administrative tasks
Coordinate development of financial plans for individuals and businesses
Monitor plan performance
Platforms: Microsoft, RedTail

Requirements

Excellent communication skills - time management, prioritizing tasks, working with deadlines
Strong organization skills - time management, prioritizing tasks, working within deadlines, even if ambiguous environments
Proactive, take initiative, exercise good judgement, discretion and confidentiality in all tasks
Adaptable, learn new things, flexible with new systems, tools, processes
Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, clients, colleagues, people inside and outside of the firm
Effective in team environment
Proactive attitude and willingness to take on additional project work / responsibilities
Decision maker
Ability to be in-person 5 days a week (8:30am-5:00pm)
Experience in finance and/or insurance (a plus)
$40,000 Salary + health insurance on first day of employment and retirement plan on the first year anniversary
Ideal candidate has a college major / minor of English and Finance
