Job Description


Finance Operations Services Global Accounts Receivable (AR) team is seeking a motivated, proactive individual to join our organization, supporting three (3) Directors, as well as lending additional support to other leaders as needed. This role requires experience with heavy calendaring, attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple requests.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively problem-solve, proactively anticipate and respond while maintaining flexibility and composure. We are seeking a resourceful, forward-thinking individual with a history of performing exceptionally in an ambiguous environment. A proven track record of effective time management, taking initiative, working independently, delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations is important. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, is self-driven and adapts to changing circumstances with grace and a sense of humor.

Key job responsibilities

Management of complex calendars and scheduling with diplomacy and discretion

Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner

Management of team space, including moves and reconfiguration

Track and help drive completion of key actions and follow-up items (including recording meeting notes and actions items)

Manage expense report coordination and submission

Organize, execute and assist with team activities, including townhall meetings and social events

Work closely with the leadership team to provide support to the global organization

Coordination and planning of domestic and international travel

Act as a liaison for direct reports

Have fun at work and help others do the same

About the team

The Finance Operations team leads delivery of cash collection and disbursement (AR and AP) capabilities for new business and geographic expansions, compliance and strategic projects. We drive decision making on which projects and programs should be undertaken, and successfully deliver each project and program. We also provide organization-wide guidance, governance, standardized processes, and project & process portfolio management best practices, tools and techniques

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience

High school or equivalent diploma

Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

Experience with executive level calendar management

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

Experience managing multiple calendars
