Job Summary

Pacific Electricis a 750-capacity music venue where fans and artists come together to share in an electrifying moment a 'lightning in a bottle' type entertainment experience. Set in a historic warehouse, it pairs the raw energy of live performance with refined hospitality and thoughtful design and will act as a cultural conduit where local creatives and global talent intersect.This venue is adjacent to two hospitality concepts, each with their own unique brand identities.

As our Event Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving new business, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination of private and corporate events. From prospecting local partnerships to collaborating with our programming and operations teams, you'll play a key role in filling our calendar with high-impact events.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive new and repeat business per set targets.
  • Engage local businesses, community partners, and corporate clients to generate new opportunities.
  • Maximize revenue from new events and secure long-term contracts aligned with goals.
  • Manage the booking system to keep the calendar accurate and spot sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Programming and Marketing to fill calendar gaps with private and corporate events.
  • Partner with on-site management to oversee private and corporate events from lead to execution.
  • Boost event profitability by upselling services and increasing ancillary revenue.
  • Help create annual sales plans for each market segment (e.g., Convention, Association, SMERF, etc.).
  • Keep listings current with third-party agencies and ensure accurate venue representation.
  • Attend trade shows and networking events to grow and maintain client relationships.
  • Communicate clearly across departments to ensure accurate, actionable information.
  • Coordinate with venue and operations teams for smooth event handover and delivery

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in event sales, preferably in the music and hospitality industry.
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and close deals.
  • Highly skilled in effective cross-functional communication and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with event booking and management systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for evening/weekend events.
