Job Description
Qualifications:
Education: JD from an accredited law school.
Experience: 4-6 years of experience in environmental law, preferably in a law firm setting. Candidates with government experience at the federal or state level are also encouraged to apply.
Environmental Focus: Knowledge of and experience with environmental regulations, including CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act and other federal and state environmental laws, and/or environmental transactions (e.g., real estate, M&A, site remediation)
Other qualifications preferred but not required include:
Environmental Litigation: Experience with environmental litigation (CERCLA cost recovery, toxic tort, etc.)
Energy & Air Expertise: Experience or interest in energy rate work and air quality regulations.
Scientific Background: A background in engineering, geology, or a related scientific field.
