Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document financial and accounting requirements.
- Analyze and recommend solutions to improve financial processes and compliance.
- Configuration and Customization:
- Configure the SAP FICO module to align with business requirements, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost accounting, and profitability analysis.
- Customize the system to accommodate specific accounting and reporting needs.
- Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules, such as SAP SD, SAP MM, and SAP HR, to maintain data consistency.
- Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate data exchange between systems.
- Testing and Validation:
- Develop and execute test scripts to validate system functionality.
- Perform unit and integration testing, and work with end-users to conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP FICO configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training and support documentation to end-users.
- User Training and Support:
- Train end-users on SAP FICO functionality, financial reporting, and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support to resolve user issues and address inquiries related to the SAP FICO module.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure financial processes are compliant with regulatory and internal accounting standards.
- Create and configure financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and cost reduction.
- Stay updated on SAP FICO best practices and new features, and implement improvements accordingly.
- Project Management:
- Lead or assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring of SAP FICO-related projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation and timely delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in SAP FICO module configuration and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of integration with other SAP modules and related technologies.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management skills and experience working on SAP implementation projects.
- SAP FICO certification is a significant advantage.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technologies
