Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team.
As an Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Hardware Validation team supporting lab operations and testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
What?s the Job?
Perform PCB rework, soldering, and lab setups for testing and validation.
Manage lab operations, including trace captures, equipment ordering, and inventory management.
Validate server systems, software stacks, and custom test boards.
Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and diagnostic tools.
Handle shipping, 3D printing, and basic Python scripting for test automation.
What?s Needed?
3-5 years of experience in an engineering lab environment.
Hands-on experience with PCB rework, soldering, and lab equipment.
Familiarity with validation processes for hardware and software stacks.
Strong organizational skills for lab management and inventory tracking.
Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX.
