Our client, is seeking an Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Mechanical Engineering Technician you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting innovative lab operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work on a team, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Technician I
Location: Round Lake, IL (ONSITE)
What's the Job?
Perform a wide variety of research and development laboratory tasks and experiments.
Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results.
Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies.
Write experimental reports, summaries, and protocols.
Support lab testing activities and assist with 3D printing lab operations.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
1-2 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred.
Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
Ability to understand technical schematics and specifications.
Strong troubleshooting skills using basic lab equipment.
