Engineering Manager

• Own the work breakdown structure for your teams ? epics, stories, dependencies, and cross-team risks are visible and up to date
• Maintain clear release schedules and communicate confidently with Product, Customer Operations, and senior engineering leadership
• Proactively identify and manage risks; you don't wait to be asked for a status update
• Facilitate quarterly planning discussions across Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience ? you have written production code and are not far removed from it
• Demonstrated experience with AI-driven software development practices and tooling in cloud-native environments
• Proficiency in one or more of: Java/Spring Boot, Python (Flask/FastAPI) ? you can read and meaningfully review code across the team's primary stack
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and modern CI/CD practices; you understand what happens between a PR merge and a production deployment
• 2+ years in an engineering leadership role ? tech lead with team ownership, or formal engineering manager
• Experience with agile delivery at scale: sprint planning, risk tracking, cross-functional stakeholder communication
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; you can represent your team's technical work clearly to non-engineers

• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL in production environments
• Familiarity with containerized workloads ? Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), AWS ECS
• Background in regulated or clinical software environments (HIPAA, GxP, SOC 2) ? or demonstrated ability to operate in high-accountability delivery contexts
• Prior experience building or scaling teams in India-based engineering organizations
