Engineering Manager (Golang)

We are seeking an Engineering Manager with expertise in Golang to lead and scale our engineering team. In this role, you will drive the development of scalable, high-performance systems , collaborate closely with product teams, and establish best engineering practices. You will also play a key role in fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence within the team.

Requirements

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, growth, and collaboration .
• Hire and onboard top-tier engineering talent to strengthen the technical foundation.

• Drive the design and development of scalable, robust, and efficient backend systems focused on performance, reliability, and security .
• Provide hands-on technical guidance for solving complex challenges and ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables .

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and co-founders to align engineering efforts with the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define new features, enhance functionalities, and address technical debt .

• Establish and refine best practices for development, testing, deployment, and maintenance to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Advocate for automation and process improvements to minimize bugs and accelerate release cycles.

• Oversee critical platform features such as ad creative generation, cost breakdowns, and international ad support .
• Drive innovation using cutting-edge technologies like LLMs, SDXL, ControlNet, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) .
• Design scalable architectures to support the platform's growing user base.

• Proven experience in managing and scaling engineering teams , ideally within a SaaS environment .
• Strong expertise in backend technologies (e.g., Golang, REST APIs, SQL optimization, Gin framework ).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and tools like Glue, CloudWatch, and vector databases .
• Deep understanding of software development best practices , including logging, unit testing, and CI/CD processes .
• Experience in building AI-driven or ad-tech platforms is highly desirable.

• Experience in fast-paced startup environments .
• Familiarity with generative AI technologies and their applications in ad creatives and campaign optimization .
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams, including product, marketing, and design .
