About the job Position Summary: Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced and motivated Employment Litigation Associate to join our growing Atlanta office. This role focuses on representing employers in a wide range of employment-related disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, non-compete, and wage and hour matters. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of employment litigation experience, strong analytical and advocacy skills, and a desire to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Defend clients in employment litigation matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, non-compete, and wage and hour disputes. Handle the defense of single-plaintiff cases, as well as class and collective actions. Draft and argue motions, including motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and other substantive motions. Conduct investigations, interviews, and preparation of witnesses for depositions and trial testimony. Oversee and conduct all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, subpoenas, and document review and production. Represent clients in mediations, settlement conferences, and administrative proceedings before the EEOC and state agencies. Provide advice and counsel to clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, such as the FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and Title VII. Assist clients with developing and implementing workplace policies, employee handbooks, and best practices to minimize legal risk. Train employers on employment law topics. Collaborate with partners and team members to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients. Requirements: 2-8 years of employment litigation experience. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
