The Our Pittsburgh office of Ogletree has an opportunity for an experienced a mid-level to senior Labor Attorney with 4+ years of labor law experience, including labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, union campaigns and similar experience, associate to join the firm?s dynamic and long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. This is an excellent opportunity for associates, counsel, shareholders and/or partners associates who are proactive and passionate about assuming a high level high-level role providing legal service within a sophisticated practice and practice. Attorneys who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of labor and employment law. law, including significant litigation and advice and counsel, are encouraged to apply. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, agencies and opposing counsel. Duties include all aspects of corporate labor and employment legal representation, but are not limited to, developing creative ideas and pragmatic solutions for client problems, litigation and trial work, and resolving governmental and workplace investigations. Requirements Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Pennsylvania. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice. Candidates must possess 6+ 4+ years of labor law experience, and have extensive employment experience advising clients on labor relations.is preferred. Substantive knowledge of employment law and significant litigation and/or advice and counsel experience from law firm or in-house environments is preferred. We expect this attorney to provide excellent written and analytical work and to contribute to a respectful, collegial office environment. Outstanding academic record preferred.preferred (Top 25% of law school class). Please note, we are not working with outside recruiters for this position.
