Emergency Medicine Physician Locum or Perm

• Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to patients with acute and critical health issues.
• Conduct detailed patient assessments, develop treatment protocols, and provide immediate medical interventions.
• Colloborate with a team of healthcare providers, including nurses and advanced practice professionals, to enhance patient care.
• Perform emergency procedures and utilize diagnostic methods to facilitate prompt care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.
• Engage in departmental initiatives aimed at improving quality of care and increasing patient satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and students, fostering a learning environment.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred; board eligibility may be considered.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in New York State.
• Relevant experience in an emergency medicine department is preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are mandatory.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a dedication to patient-centered care.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and passion for emergency medicine.

Doctorate
