Emergency Medicine Physician Locum or Perm

Delphi Healthcare is in search of an Emergency Medicine Physician to fill a critical role, available as either a locum or permanent position. In this position, you will be responsible for providing top-notch emergency medical services to patients, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, and helping to improve patient outcomes in a community-centered environment.

• Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients with a variety of acute conditions.
• Perform thorough clinical assessments and establish treatment plans based on the evaluation of patients.
• Lead care teams in the emergency department to ensure effective coordination and delivery of services.
• Utilize appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures in the management of patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding their treatment plans and health conditions.
• Participate in hospital committees focused on quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Work effectively alongside advanced practice providers and nursing staff in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred; eligibility may be considered for those in training.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of New York.
• Prior experience in an emergency medicine setting is highly desirable.
• Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required.
• Strong decision-making abilities and the capability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• A commitment to ongoing professional growth and a passion for emergency medicine.
