Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages experiencing acute medical conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform necessary emergency procedures and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment decisions.
- Communicate with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
- Actively mentor and train junior medical staff and students, promoting a culture of learning and development.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification/Board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in New York State.
- New graduates are welcome
- Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Willingness to contribute to ongoing professional development and stay updated with advancements in emergency medicine.
