Job Description

Fetch Veterinary is seeking a skilled and compassionate Overnight Emergency/ICU Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. As an Overnight Emergency/ICU Veterinary Technician, you will provide critical care and support to our evening and overnight patients. This position offers an exciting and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency and critical care to patients in the ICU
Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment
Perform diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests
Assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring
Provide compassionate care and support to pet owners during difficult times

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working as a veterinary technician in an emergency or ICU setting
Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred
Strong knowledge of emergency and critical care procedures and protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations
Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
