Maintenance Manager

JOB CLASS : Hourly

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:

This position will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, programming automation and injection molding equipment throughout the plant.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Troubleshooting, installation, modification, upgrade and repair of plant production electronic equipment including:

Create/write PLC programs for new plant equipment.

Modify/change existing machine PLC programming as needed.

Responsible for writing and executing PM programs for plant electrical/electronic

Assists maintenance planning in prioritizing planned maintenance and projects

Help to develop SOP?s/Checklists for PM?s, CM?s, TPM?s for best practices of maintaining plant electrical/electronic/PLC equipment.

Highly involved and work closely with Maintenance Leads and participate in PM, troubleshooting, repair of plant production and auxiliary equipment

Must freely share knowledge & skills with other personnel

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Good planning and organizational skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under deadline pressure

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient in PLC programming, understanding shift registers, indirect addressing and function blocks.

(Rockwell and Omron experience preferred)

AC/DC drives and Servo drive experience

Understanding of PLC communication protocols (i.e., Ethernet, DeviceNet, ProfiNet, etc.)

Understanding of I/O Field devices and proper application

Visual aptitude - must be able to see, with or without correction

Communication - ability to communicate verbally or non-verbally

Must be able to lift minimum of 50 Lbs.

Ability to perform a standing job for 12 consecutive hours

Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during a consecutive 12 hour period

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

2-year tech degree with 2- years' experience OR 7-years' experience in industrial plant environment highly involved with electronic equipment (in lieu of education)

Demonstrated excellence in PM?s, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment including:

Preferred proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic systems of Injection Molding, Assembly and Packaging equipment.
