AGCO is seeking an Electronic Design Intern to join our team based in Fargo, North Dakota . This is a full-time internship during the summer of 2025.A Product Engineer is responsible for improving and maintaining electronic hardware for complex systems in the product domains of Agriculture and Aviation. A Product Engineer will be involved in applying their skill set in a broad spectrum of technologies such as machine control and monitoring, telematics, and radio frequency (RF) circuits. Product Engineers take part in the entire product lifecycle, from initial production to obsolescence. The Engineer can problem solve and communicate collaboratively with other members of the engineering team, management, and customers to translate and execute cost reduction, product improvement, and root cause analysis.

Your Impact

Prepare and interpret schematic drawings, PCB layouts, and other visual aids.

Aid in cost reduction activities related to component selection, circuit redesign, and PCB updates.

Aid in root cause analysis on complex electrical systems.

Conduct research activities including exploration and selection of new components.

Design, coordinate, and conduct testing of electrical systems, parts, and equipment.

Participate in sprint plans and retrospectives.

Participate in technical design reviews.

Prepare technical design specifications.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.

Experience with printed circuit board design and fabrication.

Experience with SMT Manufacturing.
