As our EE Test Technician II , you will play a critical role in assembling, testing, and validating our wireless charging systems. You'll work closely with our engineering team to execute electrical test plans, build and validate magnetic and power electronics components, and ensure high-quality performance in our lab. Your contributions will directly support the development of implantable-grade systems for life-changing medical devices, and will help us maintain reliability, efficiency, and team productivity as we grow.

On an average day, you'll?
  • Execute Electrical Test Plans: Perform first-article bring-up, end-of-line tests, and subsystem validation under the guidance of design engineers.
  • Assemble and Validate Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) Systems: Build magnetic components, integrate them into full WPT assemblies, and ensure system performance.
  • Support Engineering Efforts: Conduct EMI testing, phantom tissue testing, and failure analysis to refine product designs.
  • Manage Lab Operations: Maintain an organized and efficient lab space, ensuring inventory availability, and readiness of hardware for shipment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Capture test data, write test reports, create technical documentation, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Master New Tools and Techniques: Quickly learn and operate specialized lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, impedance analyzers, thermal cameras, and data acquisition systems.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience with electrical testing, measurement tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read schematics and operate power electronic systems safely.
  • Proficiency in soldering and PCB rework.
  • Hands on experience assembling and fabricating miniaturized components.
  • Familiarity with test documentation and data reporting.
  • High attention to detail for validation and repeatable testing results.
  • Adaptability to new tools, processes, and equipment.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a proactive, positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a medical device or highly regulated environment.
  • Experience with EMI testing, phantom tissue testing, or related validation methods.
  • Hands-on experience with potting, coil fabrication, or 3D printing.
  • Experience with Altium Designer, schematics and footprint component creation, and layout capture.
  • Prior experience in PCB procurement, including submission and coordination, is a plus.
  • Basic programming experience (Labview, Python, etc.) is a bonus, but not required.
