Education Counsellor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Admission Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process, providing detailed information about programs and services, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

1. Student Counseling:
   • Interact with prospective students and parents to understand their requirements and provide guidance regarding admission processes and available courses.
   • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to address queries and offer solutions tailored to individual needs.
2. Admission Process Coordination:
   • Assist students with filling out applications and ensuring all required documents are submitted.
   • Monitor and follow up on pending applications, ensuring timelines are met.
3. Program Knowledge:
   • Develop a thorough understanding of the institution's programs, curriculum, facilities, and benefits.
   • Effectively communicate the institution's unique offerings to prospective students.
4. Database Management:
   • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admissions data using CRM or other tools.
   • Generate periodic reports on admission statistics and lead conversions.
5. Relationship Management:
   • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and educational consultants.
   • Act as a liaison between students and academic departments to ensure a seamless experience.
6. Sales and Outreach:
   • Proactively follow up with leads through phone calls, emails, and online meetings to drive enrollments.
   • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute admission campaigns and achieve enrollment targets.

Requirements

• Experience: 13 years of experience in admissions counseling, sales, or a similar role.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure during peak admission seasons.
