The E-commerce Developer will work alongside our eCommerce development team and collaborate with different business units to determine customer needs, brainstorm solutions, generate prototypes, implement solutions, and help improve adoption of our eCommerce platform. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for ecommerce web development that can work in a dynamic and growth environment. An understanding of not just how to code but why certain code works is essential.
This position is part of the Digital Commercial Operations Team and will be in Pall India, Pune office.
In this role you will have opportunity to:
Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications and user-focused experiences
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and SEO
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Write clean code adhering to our quality standards
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Monitor and improve site performance metrics
Qualifications:
BE/B. Tech Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems of related programs. 3+ years of experience in working with salesforce applications.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in front-end web development, with at least 2 years working on e-commerce platforms or online retail applications
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques, with demonstrated experience in building mobile-first shopping experiences
Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+ features and experience implementing complex shopping cart functionality
Extensive experience with front-end frameworks, particularly AngularJS (13+), and building scalable e-commerce solutions
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience with modern e-commerce platforms (e.g., Intershop, SAP commerce cloud
Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
Knowledge of SEO principles and performance optimization for e-commerce sites
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles, particularly in creating intuitive shopping experiences
Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including conversion optimization and checkout flow design
