Domestic Sales Assistant

We are seeking a Domestic Sales Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of Sales assistant experience with food and working knowledge of US grocery retail.

Responsibilities

• Receive products at all warehouses and process within the D365 system.
• Provide logistics and sales support in the absence of logistics and sales staff.
• Coordinate and resolve any shipping discrepancies with pickups and/or deliveries.
• Coordinate damage and credit issues with the appropriate entities.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Quick learner who is eager to learn and will invest the time to grow and develop in their role.
• Ability to professionally communicate in person and via email with vendors and co-workers.
• Highly organized, especially with email management
• Active learner, with good initiative, strong sense of business urgency, detail oriented, able to multitask and change priorities as needed with excellent follow up.
• Strong computer skills including the Microsoft suite of products with a focus on Outlook & Excel. Microsoft D365 experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to interact with multiple levels of management throughout the organization.
• Cultural sensitivity with international suppliers
• Background in ocean/domestic freight, logistics, and retail marketing is preferred.
