The Distribution Leader is responsible for all distribution activities at the Jackson, Missouri facility.

This person will Interface with retailers and commercial customers as well as marketing, sales, divisional and corporate logistics representatives to resolve issues with carriers and customers.

They will partner with manufacturing managers to ensure smooth flow of product from distribution through the entire supply chain.The goal is to ensure excellence in quality, delivery, and inventory control practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Interface, communicate and problem solve with carriers, customers, marketing and sales, operations

Oversee work activities and career development of 50+ hourly associates

Oversee 3PL site

Manage inventory and internal cost of failure

Manage productivity and imports

Prepare reports, attend meetings

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience or 7-9 years of experience in distribution, logistics or manufacturing

Strong communications skills, oral, and written

APICS, ASI training preferred
